FAA AIM 2-1-1. Approach light system; ALS

1. ALS는 착륙활주로시단에서 접근구역 으로 정밀계기활주로의 경우 2400~3000ft 비정밀계기활주로의 경우 1400~1500ft의 거리에 이르는 신호등의 배열이다.

NOTE-

민간 ALSF-2는 양호한 기상상태에서는  SSALR로 운용될 수 있다.

2. ALS의 유형

유형	설명
ALSF-1	Approach LIght System with Sequenced Flashing Lights in ILS CAT-1 configuration.
ALSF-2	Approach LIght System with Sequenced Flashing Lights and Red Side Row Lights in ILS CAT - 2 configuration.(ALSF-2는 기상상태가 허용될때 SSALR로 운용할 수 있다.)
SSALF	Simplified Short Approach Light System with Sequenced Flashing Lights.
SSALR	Simplified Short Approach Light System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights.
MALSF	Medium Intensity Approach Light System with Sequenced Flashing Lights.
MALSR	Medium Intensity Approach Light System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights.
RLLS	Runway Lead - in Light system
RAIL	Runway Alignment Indicator Lights
ODALS	Omnidirectional Approach Lighting System consists of seven omnidirectional flashing lights located in the approach area of a nonprecision runway.
